Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association
Coventry, RI
A nonprofit recreational saltwater fishing association, one of the largest of its kind in the Northeast, representing thousands of anglers plus affiliated fishing and environmental organizations across Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts. It runs monthly seminars, member charter trips, and adult and junior tournaments, and is active in marine fisheries conservation and advocacy.
Rocky Mountain Flycasters
Fort Collins, CO
The Trout Unlimited chapter serving Fort Collins, Loveland, and surrounding areas, active in coldwater conservation across Northern Colorado since 1983. Its cornerstone effort is the Poudre Headwaters Project, a native greenback cutthroat trout restoration in the Cache la Poudre watershed. The chapter received Trout Unlimited's national Gold Trout Award in 2023.
Michigan Fly Fishing Club
Livonia, MI
A nonprofit fly fishing club founded in 1970 with more than 300 members ranging from novice to expert, based in Livonia, Michigan. The club promotes fly fishing and conservation and educates members and the public through classes, seminars, and workshops. It raises most of its funds by running the volunteer-operated Midwest Fly Fishing Show each March.
San Diego Anglers
San Diego, CA
A nonprofit, family-oriented saltwater fishing club with more than 300 members, established in 1990. The club promotes sport-angling competition among members and is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of marine sportfishing, hosting seminars, fish reports, and member events.
Berkeley Striper Club
Seaside Park, NJ
A member surf-fishing club focused on the pursuit of striped bass from beach, jetty, boat, and kayak along the New Jersey coast. It runs an annual catch-and-release striper tournament and works on conservation through affiliations with the Jersey Coast Anglers Association and the Association of Surf-Fishing Clubs.
Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum
Livingston Manor, NY
A nonprofit dedicated to preserving the heritage of fly fishing in the Catskills, located on 50 acres along the Willowemoc Creek. The site includes a museum, art gallery, and Heritage Arts Workshop, and houses the Catskill Fly Fishing Hall of Fame. It runs educational programs and events such as the Hardy Cup bamboo rod casting competition.
Cincinnati Bassmasters
Cincinnati, OH
A member-run bass fishing club affiliated with Ohio B.A.S.S. Nation, based in the Cincinnati tri-state area. The club fishes a season of local tournaments within about a 125-mile radius plus two board-selected destination lakes, using an angler/co-angler team draw format, and welcomes experienced anglers and high school co-anglers.
Concord Rod & Gun Club
Concord, MA
A member club in Concord, Massachusetts with a club pond that members may fish year-round. The pond holds largemouth bass, chain pickerel, crappie, yellow perch, catfish, and sunfish; the club has transitioned from stocked trout to native species and encourages catch-and-release. It runs a Kids Fishing Derby and has commissioned ecological studies on pond health.
Connecticut Surfcasters Association

A nonprofit surfcasting club founded in 1993 that promotes the sport of surf fishing through education of its members and the public. The club holds events and demo days and works to preserve the surfcasting tradition along the Connecticut shoreline.
Denver Trout Unlimited
Denver, CO
The Denver chapter of Trout Unlimited, focused on the health and habitat of the Denver South Platte River from Chatfield Dam to 120th Avenue. The chapter works on water quality, aquatic insects, and in-stream habitat to build an urban gamefish fishery. It hosts the annual Carp Slam fishing event, which raises funds for South Platte restoration projects.
Diablo Valley Fly Fishing Club
Walnut Creek, CA
A nonprofit fly fishing club affiliated with the Northern California Council of Fly Fishers International, dedicated to fly fishing education, conservation of native fish, and camaraderie. The club offers instructional sessions, skills seminars, fishing outings, and guest speakers at regular meetings. It sponsors a fisheries-biology scholarship at UC Davis.
Fishing Creek Sportsmen's Association
Benton, PA
A volunteer sportsmen's association in Benton, Pennsylvania (Columbia County) founded in 1969 and dedicated to promoting fishing on Fishing Creek. It operates a cooperative trout nursery with the PA Fish & Boat Commission, raising roughly 25,000 trout annually, owns about 1.5 miles of stream frontage open to public fishing, and hosts an annual Kids Fishing Derby.
Florida B.A.S.S. Nation
FL
A nonprofit organization of members dedicated to bass fishing in Florida, running competitive tournaments across four regions with Pro-Am, Team, College, High School, and Junior divisions. It conducts environmental stewardship through water body cleanups and contributes catch-and-release census data to state wildlife management.
Georgia B.A.S.S. Nation
GA
Georgia's B.A.S.S.-sanctioned state organization comprising affiliated adult, college, high school, and junior bass fishing clubs. It runs a statewide tournament trail with published results and Angler of the Year standings, and supports members forming new adult and high school clubs.
Long Beach Casting Club
Long Beach, CA
A member-run club promoting fly fishing, competitive tournament casting, and conservation since 1925, based at Long Beach Recreation Park. Its campus includes a lighted casting pond and a classroom used for fly tying, casting, and rod building instruction. The club organizes member outings to waters including the Lower Owens and Green River.
Missouri B.A.S.S. Nation
Camdenton, MO
A grassroots nonprofit organization of over 30 affiliated clubs across Missouri, fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass statewide. Members compete in three state tournaments with paths to regional and national championships, and the group runs high school and junior youth trails plus habitat conservation work.
Mobile Big Game Fishing Club
Mobile, AL
A member-run offshore fishing club on the Alabama Gulf Coast targeting big-game species including marlin and other billfish. The club runs a season of tournaments from spring through early fall, including Memorial Day, Junior Angler, Ladies, Billfish Limited, White Marlin Shootout, and Labor Day Invitational events.
North Carolina Bass Nation

North Carolina's B.A.S.S. Federation Nation, a long-running community of affiliated clubs that has operated for more than 30 years. It supports Eastern and Western North Carolina tournament trails, a state championship, and youth programs.
Potomac-Patuxent Chapter of Trout Unlimited
Silver Spring, MD
A Trout Unlimited chapter serving Howard, Montgomery, Anne Arundel, and Prince George's Counties in Maryland plus the District of Columbia, dedicated to preserving coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. Its conservation work focuses on trout waters on the northern fringe of metropolitan Washington, including the upper Patuxent, Paint Branch, and Northwest Branch. The chapter meets monthly from September through May.
South Carolina Bass Nation
SC
The B.A.S.S.-affiliated state organization for South Carolina, part of the global B.A.S.S. Nation network of locally organized clubs. Members participate in a tournament schedule with an Angler of the Year points championship, plus conservation initiatives and youth programs, including a youth series that has fished Lake Hartwell.
Stonefly Society
Salt Lake City, UT
The oldest Trout Unlimited chapter in Utah, based in Salt Lake City, dedicated to fly fishing, conservation, and community along the Wasatch Front. It grew out of angler meetings begun in 1977 and was accepted as a chapter of both the Federation of Fly Fishers and Trout Unlimited in 1978. The society hosts meetings, outings, and fly-tying gatherings, and co-hosts an annual youth fly fishing camp.
Texas B.A.S.S. Nation
TX
A member-run nonprofit affiliated with B.A.S.S. Nation, organizing bass fishing tournaments across five Texas regions through Club, Team, College, Youth, and Kayak divisions on lakes such as Texoma, Palestine, and Brownwood. The organization follows the Bassmasters' Creed, emphasizing youth instruction, conservation codes, and reporting of water polluters.
Washington Fly Fishing Club
Seattle, WA
Founded in 1939, a Seattle-based fly fishing club and one of the Northwest's longtime voices for conservation and sportsmanship, meeting monthly year-round. In 1975 it formed the Washington Fly Fishing Club Foundation, a nonprofit that funds fisheries research, conservation, and education. The club offers public fly tying and casting classes and sponsors youth programs and member outings.
West Palm Beach Fishing Club
West Palm Beach, FL
A member sport-fishing club founded in 1934, among the oldest and largest sport fishing clubs in the country. Since its inception the club has played a leadership role in fisheries conservation, innovation, and education in South Florida.
