Salmon & Steelhead in New Hampshire

New Hampshire packs a lot of fishing into a small map: White Mountain trout streams at one end, Atlantic salt at the other, and the big glacial lakes in between. The Lakes Region is the freshwater heart of it: Lake Winnipesaukee, Squam Lake, and Lake Winnisquam, where guides troll for landlocked salmon and lake trout and work the rocky shorelines for smallmouth and largemouth bass. Head north into the White Mountains and North Country and the water gets colder and wilder: rivers and small lakes holding brook trout, rainbows, and browns.

The salt is only ever a short drive away.
