  Alaska fish on charters is an exceptional place for your fishing trip. Immediately upon arrival while checking in I purchased a fish on hat. Later that evening I had Gary the owner of the company bless it with his fishing experience. The following day we were on a halibut fishing trip in the cook’s inlet. I happened to catch the first fish, the last fish, and the most fish on the boat that day. This was by far the best fishing experience I’ve ever had. The lodging, guides, and experience was amazing. Don’t hesitate to call Alaska fish on charters for a fishing trip of a lifetime.

  This was my first trip to Alaska and I think it’s safe to say after this trip, I will be returning in the future. The guides for salmon and halibut were experienced and amazing people to talk to. We got our limit in halibut the two days we went out, and got our limit of sockeye salmon two out of the three days. Lodging was clean, organized, and comfortable for me, my two uncles, and my grandpa.

  To say our experience here was amazing is an understatement. Our guides Jesse. Brandon and luke were fantastic and definitely put us on the fish. Our room in the lodge was well equipped and clean with a beautiful view. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Gary even took the time to check in on us and share some fishing stories. Honestly it was even better then we dreamed. 5+++ it took us 25 years to make it to Alaska and I'm hopeful we get to come again someday

  BETTER THAN OUR WILDEST DREAMS! What Gary and Darlene Keenan have created in Kenai is something really special! I really needed a fishing lodge or camp to base myself at for 5 or 6 days and hopefully have fishing trips organised through them. At the top of my list was a high average review rate at a reasonable cost. Many were too pricey and offered things I do not need like 5 star meals. Finally I found Alaska FISH ON Charters - a clear winner for customer reviews and reasonable pricing. In the end my wife and I booked 5 fishing trips - 1 x Halibut, 1 x Halibut and King Salmon, 2 x Red and King Salmon, and lastly a Red Salmon and bear watching trip. I contacted them just under 10 months before we intended visiting, and had so many questions and queries for Jenny who was part of the office team and our main contact, and she must have got sick of me surely. Anywho, all my questions ware fully answered with and we were given extra tips and suggestions that left us feeling completely assured FISH ON knew what they were doing and would be well and truly looking after us for the duration of our stay. I even had the chance to speak to Gary the owner, and he gave the best dates for Halibut fishing during our stay based on the tides. The Lodge is beautifully located right of the coast with drop-dead views across Cook Inlet to the snowy mountains like the volcano Mt. Redoubt. Our room was part of the main building. It was spacious and well set out with a proper kitchen and bathroom. Beds were comfortable and the shower hot! We did have to hire a car (Turo which is a cheaper alternative to the big brand car rental companies) in Kenai to get us to the the boat ramps or moorings of the sea vessels, and we provided our own food on and off the trips - which was easy for us with big supermarkets and multiple restaurants in Kenai and at Homer. Details of the following days fishing was sent to you the day/evening before. It did mean getting up some mornings around 2am but that's fishing for ya! We fished the close by Kasilof River as the Kenai was closed for King salmon fishing. There were plenty of Reds to be had at a favourite shingle bank, and we also drifted-fished from there to the lower fish ramp for Kings. In addition we had 2 Halibut trips I'd booked were further to get to, but well worth it. We caught Halibut and Pacific Cod. The absolute highlight was fishing and bear watching at Wolverine Creek in Clark National Patk. It was truely MAGNIFICENT! We will not forget... A scenic flight over in a floatplane and then transfer to an open boat. The creek is closed by. But the highlight was the Grizzly Bears and they were close to view and photograph. At all times we felt safe and confident with our guide Nick. The photos I’m adding below are all just from an iPhone 17 Pro Max! WOOW, I'm still buzzing just thinking about what we did, 4 weeks later! None of the trips disappointed. Guides and boats and equipment were all very good. The lodge has an arrangement, depending on how many days you fish and how much you fish, that they will allow you to have a limited amount of your catch vacuumed packed, frozen, and packed in a fish box for your return home, as part of your booking. As we had about 70lb of Red Salmon, King Salmon, Halibut and Pacific Cod to bring back 12000km (about 30 hours of travel and 4 flights to New Zealand,this was vital to us. The fish processors were Jolly Wally's, and they are the best. Again we had several questions for them but it all worked like clockwork. Everyday after fishing we would take the prepared fish to Jolly Wally's to further process. They have a great team there. My wife and I both having nothing but praise and thanks to FISH ON, and the memories we have will last forever! On a personal note, our hearts go out to Darlene who has been going through cancer treatment but still very much in the thick of it. Thanks to you all.
