Big Ed's Guide Service, Lake Ozarks Bass Fishing

  Big Ed is a special kind of person. He is so knowledgeable of how to catch Bass. His patience (and humor) used to teach us how to use his bait casting reels (no cheep starter gear here) as well as the technique needed to lure the fish to bite made our 4 hour trip an absolute highlight of our vacation. He taught us 2 different methods of fishing the suspended school of fish he had located over the last several weeks. We caught 25+ fish during our trip and released them all (no trophies) but in a couple years these fish will be monsters. As our time concluded Big Ed gave us a boat tour of the lake including views of his favorite lake front homes, a quick stop for fuel at one of the local lakeside fuel stops and an awesome sample of the speed his 250hp bass boat could do on the open water. He is a pure professional and it was a pleasure spending the morning in his company.

  We had a great time fishing with Ed. He really knows his stuff. He taught me how to use a bait caster and a few tricks for better casting and managing our gear. Also learned a lot about fishing for bass on the big lakes..

  Ed was awesome me and my friend went on a fishing charter with him and he was awesome. Very funny, super nice guy, and man he knows how to fish. Me and my friend were both novice fisherman and he taught us a bunch of tips and tricks and how to be better fisherman. He also let us stay out longer due to some quick boat maintenance that had to be done. We caught a lot of fish especially on top water it was awesome, and to finish the day he gave us some lures that he painted himself. Next time I’m down at the Ozarks I’m giving Ed a call and anyone looking for a guided bass trip should too. 10/10 recommend Ed

  Big Ed was a fantastic guide! My girlfriend and I spent a half day trip with Big Ed and had a great day! We caught a ton of fish, he taught me how to use a baitcaster and fish a Texas rig, and we had a bunch of good laughs and great conversation. Ed was a patient teacher and I highly recommend giving him a shout if you want to get turned on to some great fish at Lake Ozark!
