  What a great shop and guide service these guys run, I booked a flat trip with Blackfoot river outfitters for my family of 4. Two boats and two guides. Every aspect of the trip was super smooth, professional, friendly and easy with the shop. Our guides, Francisco and Chris were outstanding and made sure my entire family enjoyed the trip. It was my wife’s first fly fishing trip ever, and Francisco did an incredible job of teaching and coaching her at her pace through the entire day and she caught a lot of fish and had the best trip ever. If you’re fishing the Missoula area, this is the shop to call and book your trip and outfit yourself with anything you could need for fly fishing. Thank you BRO!

  For my 71st Birthday I booked an all day float trip with Sam. The day exceeded my expectations. Sam taught me all day about what he was seeing on the river and we had good success in landing a good number of trout. Was really excited about the healthy Brown Trout Sam guided me too. Would recommend Sam to anyone who wants to learn and catch some fish. Was a great day.

  I bought my SOTAR Blackfoot Strike from Blackfoot River Outfitters, and the whole experience was exceptional. Matthew Churchman went above and beyond helping me put together the raft, frame, and trailer exactly to my specs. He is super knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with. I drove out to Missoula and spent the weekend floating the Blackfoot and Clark Fork rivers with their guides and owner, John, picking up great tips from the pros and sharing plenty of laughs and camaraderie along the way. The crew was welcoming, the instruction was top-notch, and the entire trip was unforgettable. Huge thanks to everyone at BRO for the incredible setup and experience!

  I worked w/ BRO to schedule a 3 day and 4 night spring trip. They worked every detail they could control -- only exception was the weather as we arrived Missoula in a driving snow storm. Guides called and let us know we'd be ok & told us there were options to get fish in the boat. They were 100% correct. We brought layers to keep warm and we caught great fish every day. Exceptional service & guides were great. Would recommend to anyone. We visited the fly shop once, it was a super store and team was very friendly.
