3 generations of boys dreamed about catching fish together for Father’s Day weekend and Jon Larson, with Blong’s Brainerd Guide Service, made those dreams come true! Jon was so knowledgeable and an amazing teacher for all ages. He inspired our youth to keep learning to fish. His ability to connect and really take time to build relationships made everyone feel so successful and cared for. The bonus was that they caught a ton of fish!! He knew right where to go! We were so delighted for this day of memories as a family! Thank you Jon!! God bless all your adventures!

John Blong and Jon Larson were awesome. They put us on a bunch of fish, including trophy sized fish, they were awesome to hangout with, and they hooked us up with a shore fish fry when the day was done. This is our third time fishing with these guys and we’re for sure coming back. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you want to catch fish the old-school way, Jon Larson is your guy! 🎣 “The Natural Boy” My son, a friend, and I fished with Jon, and we were catching fish all day long. No fancy LiveScope… just years of experience, instinct, and natural fishing talent. I used to think I had to drive all the way to Canada for this kind of fishing. Not anymore! Now I just need to find Jon whenever I want an incredible day on the water. Great guide, great teacher, great company, and an unforgettable trip. We’ll definitely be back!

Jon Larson is an amazing guide. We caught so many huge fish! He knows every detail of the lakes including the history of the area. I learned so much about fishing even though I’ve been fishing all my life. It was very entertaining as well!
