My dad booked our trip to thrill my five-year-old son. Thanks to Captain Tony’s and First Mate Patrick’s skills as fishermen and accommodating hosts, mission accomplished! My son was ecstatic and my dad got to relive the trips he took with my grandfather growing up in Southern California and on trips to Mexico. It was very special. We caught a barracuda and two fat tunas on a four-hour trip. My mom and I hung out and enjoyed the spectacularly beautiful leeward coast of Oahu, such a gorgeous day. My mom said she doesn’t remember the last time she felt so relaxed. I was holding my nine-month-old daughter the whole time and I felt very safe and comfortable posted up on the shaded second level of the boat. I felt sea sick for the first half an hour or so of the trip, but Tony was so careful and accommodating, it went away. Anyway. This was a big deal for our family, an excellent experience, and I highly recommend!

I went on a 6 hour shared charter and it was a great time! We jigged for the first hour or two and then trolled for the remaining time. We caught 2 hefty mahi mahi and a nice skipjack. On charters like this you end up working with the mate more than the captain - Tony was nice to chat with and direct when a line needed to be cleared, and the deckhand Patrick was super friendly and attentive. All in all a great time spent out on the water with a pleasant group :)

We had such a great experience with Boom Boom. Captain Joe and deckhand Liam were awesome. Super knowledgeable and know how to catch fish. We were lucky enough to land a 150lbs Blue Marlin when, after talking to other people that went on different boats that day, caught nothing. I will definitely be back!

Boom boom fishing charters is the way to go! We had a blast, the captain Tony was awesome! Mana was awesome too! Very knowledgeable and friendly. They made the experience, this was our first charter as a family and I would highly recommend going using boom boom fishing charters. We caught two marlin and two tuna, it was so cool and we had an amazing time. Out of all the things we did in Hawaii for 3 weeks this topped off our trip. Best experience ever. They were very attentive and made sure to ask us if we needed anything and if we were doing alright through out the entire experience. I get alittle sea sick so it was nice of mana to continue to check in on me. We felt very welcome and we truly appreciate them!
