  Awesome fishing guide on the Little Res River would use Austin again. Took us jig fishing with wax worm. See pictures for results of the trip. Largest rainbow trout was 3 pounds. Also caught a rare Logperch in the river as well.

  I rented a cabin on the Little Red River to spend the weekend with my father. Even though we were literally steps away from the river with a private dock. I saw some people on a boat and thought, that would be nice but I can’t justify buying a boat. Nor was I going to get in a kayak and do all that work. So, I called Austin, and we ended up on Austin’s boat. Austin took us on the best tour I have ever been on. He took great care of me and dad. He just said, “You fish, I will do the rest.” He explained everything and got as excited as us when we caught fish.. When I drove dad home, he said, “I don’t remember how many I caught” I said, “The only statistic I know is how many hooks I baited, zero.” I swear fishing with Austin is like fishjng with your dad, mom, uncle, or grand father, when you were younger, except he doesn’t yell when you do something stupid. It is evident that he enjoys helping people and showing them a great time. He was very efficient in driving the boat, baiting the hooks, and getting the fish off yout line. He calls locals by their name and is a part of the community that we are visitors at. He treats you like a visitor and makes you want to join the community. He takes all the work away and maximizes your time fishing. If you have read this far… Just let him take you fishing. A great and affordable experience with an aquatic encyclopedia and great human. You literally can just show up empty handed as he provides everything. You don’t need a boat when you have a friend with a boat. Meet Austin and you will have that friend. The picture of the fish board would have been full several times over had we kept everything that we caught.

  We had an excellent experience with Austin at Boren to Fish on the Little Red River. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took care of everything for us from start to finish. We only needed to bring sunscreen, binoculars, and water! We caught numerous rainbow trout throughout the trip, and my husband landed a beautiful 21-inch brown trout. We chose an afternoon trip from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and it was perfect. The weather was wonderful, the fishing was excellent, and the sunset over the river was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Austin and Boren to Fish for anyone looking for a memorable trout fishing trip on the Little Red River.

  Austin was incredible! We caught over 30 fish and my grandson was on a cloud all day after the trip! Austin was not only a fishing guide but a wealth of knowledge about the river, the fish and the wildlife. We all learned so much from him and will definitely use his service again!
