  Our group of 5 had an awesome day with Clay (our guide) on Lake Coeur d’Alene and an overall excellent experience with Fins and Feathers. Jeff helped us obtain our Idaho licenses right from the shop before setting out on the water. Unfortunately, despite being from Louisiana and well-versed in gulf fishing, one in our party didn’t know that a banana can be bad luck… but a little superstition didn’t stop Clay from finding plenty of Kokanee and several Chinook for us! We had a beautiful blue-sky day on the lake, and Clay worked tirelessly both to find the fish and to keep our rods set up & ready for the next fish. Clay clearly has a passion for fishing and being on the water, and it made the day that much more enjoyable for all of us. The icing on the cake came just as we were wrapping up—the leader of our group got to reel in a huge chinook! A perfect photo finish before we released it back into the lake and called it a day. Grateful for a great day on the water, for Jeff’s friendly and knowledgable service and Clay’s hard work and good company! Would absolutely book again and highly recommend Fins & Feathers!!

  We had the pleasure of having Clay take us out on fishing trip. He knows the lake very well and the equipment very experienced and comfortable to help teach us. We all caught a ton of fish. He helped educate us and explain the different types of fish and the laws of how many we were able to take with us. We ended up having to make sure we put back any fish that weren’t the appropriate length. Clay made us feel very comfortable and showed us each how to do it. I’m not the type to be able to clean the fish or anything like that but Clay handled it all. Had a great time was a perfect day to go out on the lake. I’d definitely recommend requesting Clay because he had so much experience. Even on his navigation it had all the pins makers for where he has fished in the last 30 days…. He been everywhere on that lake!!! Now I have fresh fish to smoke for the next couple weeks! Ended up with about 16 sockeye salmon. Thanks for providing a great guide for us!!!

  Everyone was great! Gabe was our guide and he knew right where to take us. We caught plenty of salmon. He was super easy to talk to, interested in where we are from, and kept us laughing. He told us a lot about the area too. My dad fishes a lot so they had plenty to talk about. He taught my daughter the difference in setting the hook and reeling in salmon vs trout. And she taught him about manifesting! Hey Gabe, be sure and manifest a trip to Bear Lake to come fish our end of the state! We're happy to show you around!

  I recently attended the F & F Kamloops Rainbow class. I can't say enough about the classroom & charter trip. There were no hidden secrets, just straight up honest fishing education. Zach taught most of the Class. He was clear on all the techniques including all the gear they use for each season, locations, gear on your boat and techniques on the water. I was on Zach's boat. He was ready to leave on time. We used techniques discussed in Class and we're having a slow start. Zach changed gear gradually and we started catching fish. Zach was plugged into the mission to find fish and get them biting the entire day. He answered tons of questions all day long. We ended up catching 2 fish about 15 pounds and several under 20 inches. Overall, it was a fun time, a great education and well worth every dollar spent. F & F is a top notch outfit. I highly recommend them. Thanks again Zach!
