  Had a fantastic full day fly fishing trip with Flys and Guides. Zach had us reeling the trout in all day and was a pleasure to fish with. The shop is stocked to the gills with flies and other gear, and Jeremy and Lisa are great people. Will be back soon for another trip on the White! Staying at Cabin 4 at Copper John’s was the place to be as well!

  Amazing trip! Our group caught lots of rainbows and many large browns. Our guides were top notch. This was our first time fly fishing and our guides, Dirty and Jeremy instructed us and had us bringing in fish in no time. This has been my best fishing trip I’ve been on and will definitely be back as soon as possible. Get on the phone now and give Flys and Guides a call to get on the water asap!!

  Lisa and Jeremy have created an absolutely awesome fly shop! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the nicest and most attentive people you’ll ever meet. The shop itself is unlike any fly shop I’ve ever been to, packed with everything you might need and more. Their selection is amazing, from top-quality gear to materials and, of course, more flies than you can even imagine. On top of that, they have awesome fly fishing guides who will put you on amazing fish and make sure you have an unforgettable time on the water. Every corner of the shop has something useful, and you can tell how much care and passion Lisa and Jeremy put into it. This place is a true gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! This is a place that not only would I rate a 10, but a place worth traveling from around the world to visit this world class fly fishing destination. You can even see proof of this with just a few of the pictures from my trip.

  These were the best days of fly fishing in my 60year history. Day one, Sunday, May 3rd, our trip began at the Flys and Guides Fly Shop in Lakeview, AK. Within 20 minutes of our scheduled start time, we were drifting in the White River trying to drown our flies. The gear was firstclass, and the flies were exceptional. Almost immediately, we started getting strikes, and within minutes rainbows were in the net. It was obvious that Lisa is an extremely experienced guide who knows exactly where the trout are—and just as importantly, when it’s time to move on to the next pool. She stayed ahead of every adjustment, changing flies and adjusting depth before it was even needed, keeping us on fish throughout the entire day. My casting arm gave out long before the trout did. My son and I were catching fish most of the day, including a couple of beautiful trout over 22 inches landed by him. Day two mirrored the first, but with even larger trout. We landed more fish and had our share of heartpounding battles with bigger trout, both landed and lost. I highly recommend Lisa and the Flys and Guides Fly Shop. I can’t wait to do it againThank you, Lisa, for a very productive, memorable, and thoroughly enjoyable fishing trip—the best in all my many years of fly fishing.
