  For Memorial Day weekend my husband and I were invited to Walker, MN to fish on Leech Lake. We went Walleye fishing with Leech Lake Guide Service. We caught lots of walleye, learned how the fish finder worked how to tell how far away the fish are, and much more. Also, got the chance to do some pan fishing and I held my first fish without gloves. I also started taking the fish off the hook for the first time. I felt so comfortable and relaxed. JR our guide was beyond wonderful and amazing. He was patient and took the time to explain things and help us catch fish like we knew what we were doing. I strongly recommend this guided fishing trip. This is not just for novice beginners. This is for EVERYONE who wants to experience a time of their life on Leech Lake. I will absolutely be back.

  I (in blue shirt) went out with JR and my son and daughter in law This was a pretty much first time walleye fishing and was a great experience! Jr definitely is highly recommended for sure! He taught us how to catch walleye and we all limited out by lunchtime! Was an amazing experience and I highly recommend JRGuide Services

  We had an enjoyable time we caught fish guide did everything baited hook provided the fishing pole and brought us to the spot we even got to see a big black bear swimming in the lake wonderful experience

  My husband hasn’t fished in 25 years, my son has only fished a couple of times, and just for little bluegills. They went out with Joe and in a few hours time, had caught us a big dinner! My son caught some nice sized walleyes and had a blast. Joe was great with communication/planning/scheduling, and the fellas had a blast. Highly recommend.
