We go here for ice fishing. It's quiet, affordable and the houses are kept at a distance. I trust the owner (Eddy) about ice conditions and to keep my house safe while stored there. I will never go anywhere else!

Great budget option. Got the entry level shack for 12 hours. Brought my 11yo son, not an ice fisherman, and he had a blast! Caught plenty of fish to have fun, nothing big though. Heggies pizza delivered to our shack even! What a great experience for under$100, plus pizza.

We rented during the presidents weekend from Saturday to Monday. Let’s just say it was not the best stay and we will not be coming back again. The house they had us stay in was clearly used by previously people in the same spot. There were sunflower seeds at the bottom of the fishing holes. We did not catch much of anything during the stay, only two 6” walleye. The guy that checked on us was not much help for giving us tips to catch fish either. We were willing to move houses but were not given the option.

We were at Lyback's from yesterday morning until this morning 1/14/26. Although the bite was slow due to a classic cold front and big wind, Lyback's is a top notch place to rent a house! Great customer service above and beyond! Big shout out to Chris who made our trip especially easy for a couple of old folks like us. And thank you to Andrea for finding us a deck of cards as we forgot ours. Made for some fun card games passing time between bites. Will definitely be back very soon!
