Stayed for the SJR500 in April 2025 and 2026. Cabin was comfortable, simple accommodations, and was perfect since 95% of the time we were on the water fishing. Dinners at the main lodge were excellent. The wait staff, bar tenders, and owners paid attention to the details and treated us like friends. Very welcoming. Fair prices also.

***READ BEFORE RENTING TACKLE*** Just got back from a 4day/3night trip with two full days fishing. Had a group of 8 all from Colorado. The service, rooms, and food were great no complaints. As a group we caught alot of fish, some more than others, had a couple guys only get one. Now I know they can't guarantee amounts or size of fish and that's fine again I understand that. But we rented their tackle in the package with the radar. In the tackle was about maybe 10 total jigs/lures, but there were multiple jigs/lures that were the same so no variety. When the guides checked on us, they would tell us what was working and asked if we had any, while both of us knowing we only have what you provided. After that they would leave and check on others. I think the guided experience lacked tremendously. Again all 8 of us are from Colorado and have 0 experience fishing for Walley. Not much help at all. Still I give this place a 4/5 stars because of the service at the bar/restaurant, the food their, and the rooms were all fantastic.

We stopped at Miles Lab Bar and Grill after ice fishing. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun. Staff was amazing and friendly. Highly recommend stopping by for a drink and a burger anytime in the area!

Our family loves coming to River Bend!! The people here make the experience fun and enjoyable. The morning sunrise view from the cabins is the perfect start to the day. The food and fishing just makes it better. Can't wait for the next trip!
