  We did the jet boat tour yesterday with Jess. It was AWESOME! He had the most knowledge about the different areas along the way and would stop at historical sights and tell the stories. We had lunch at China bar lodge and the food was great, people were so nice and views are amazing. The ride back down the river was so fun and wet! His new boat is also one of the coolest ones out there!

  We took a trip in Hells Canyon with Salmon River Tours and it was amazing!! The communication was excellent, they were on time and very friendly. We had some first timers with us the and showed them how to successfully catch some fish! They were very knowledgeable not only the area but also the history. They spotted tons of wildlife for us and we were sad to have the day come to an end. We will definitely book a trip with them again!

  This is a review for a 2 day Steelhead drift boat trip in late February. We enjoyed our time on the river and with our guide. The river is beautiful and we saw lots of wildlife. Unfortunately, we didn't get so much as a steelhead bite during our 2 days fishing. We understand that fishing can be slower, but if we knew that getting skunked over 2 days was a possibility we probably wouldn't have come and instead opted for a trip earlier in the season. I wouldn't come back at this time of year.

  You won’t find a better and more inviting group that knows the river. We had a great trip even after a scheduling incident (completely my fault, didn’t check the confirmation) and they made it work for us. We will definitely be going back and the fishing was great.
