  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review for Stotts Fishing Adventures & Guide Stormy Patterson I want to express my sincere gratitude to Stotts Fishing Adventures and our guide, Stormy Patterson, for an incredible fishing experience. From the phone call the night before the trip to meeting us at the boat launch the next morning, Stormy was courteous, respectful, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He provided clear instructions throughout the trip and treated both my 73-year-old father and me with the utmost respect. My father and I have been fishing the Clearwater River for over 30 years, primarily during the October steelhead season. When my dad called and suggested a two-day guided salmon fishing trip, I immediately jumped at the opportunity. Not having to haul a boat from Bonners Ferry to Orofino or worry about bringing the right gear made the decision easy. What truly set this trip apart was Stormy's willingness to teach. Since neither my father nor I had much experience salmon fishing, Stormy took the time to answer countless questions and explain techniques, equipment, and strategies. The knowledge he shared likely saved us years of trial and error, much like what we experienced learning steelhead fishing on our own. The fishing was great, the service was outstanding, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. The price was very fair and well worth the convenience, expertise, and memories we came home with. I give Stormy Patterson and Stotts Fishing Adventures a well-deserved 5-star rating and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a first-class fishing experience on the Clearwater River.   My husband and I did the Hells Canyon Sturgeon trip and what an experience. We stayed at the 3030 Lodge and from the moment Mel greeted us at the door we were treated just like family (the ones you like lol). Mel and Blaise prepared us the most delicious gourmet dinners. Between the Walleye, Salmon, bbq ribs and Tri-tip we never went to bed hungry. We sat around the table and shared stories and laughs just like families did before cell phones and the internet. Then the adventure began when we met Tom Bullock for our days of Sturgeon fishing. Tom did not disappoint and made sure my husband and I had the experience of catching such an amazing fish (kind of ugly but still amazing). He made us a bbq lunch on the boat each day and truly was the best guide a person could ask for. Besides me almost loosing his pole in the water when it was my turn to reel (thanks for saving me Tom) the day was perfect. The experience, memories and new friends we met was hands down the best investment I have ever made for my mind and soul. Now I am going to do some weight lifting and get some muscles in my arms and we will be back in the fall for some Steelhead fishing. Get ready Tom because I will be requesting you as our guide!!   We fished with Jeremy on the Clearwater river for 2 days. You couldn’t ask for a better guide. This was my first time fishing for Steelhead. Jeremy was so knowledgeable. We stayed at the 3030 Lodge. The accommodations were top notch. Mel and family were so hospitable. We are definitely returning again. I highly recommend them to everyone.

  There's a reason these guys are #1! Great service, great lunches, price point is spot on, good equipment, and knowledgeable guides. We just had two very successful and enjoyable charters. Salmon on Clearwater river with Stormy and Greg was a blast! They put us on over 40 fish with 7 keepers. Then we did Sturgeon on Snake river with Tom...another home run! We caught a few 3'-4' and then hooked one over 8'! Bucket list fish for anyone. Did I mention the absolutely stunning landscape here! Our group of ex-military veterans has been on charters all across North America. We can honestly say these were some of best, well planned trips we've been on. Well done Stotts, Stormy, Greg, and Tom!
