  Tom is outstanding. So much knowledge of fish and the great north woods. He is engaging and can really help you catch fish. He was very patient with our group of intermediate casters. Highly recommend his guide service.

  I would book another trip with Tom without hesitation. He was patient, prepared, and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating to my wife and my varying skill levels. He provided helpful tips throughout the day that will undoubtedly make me a better fisherman. He is everything that I would hope for from a guide. We had a terrific time.

  Tom is a knowledgeable and helpful professional with a passion for fly fishing, conservation, and history. I have enjoyed two seasons with him at Bosebuck Mountain Camps catching huge, wild trout on the Upper Magalloway River. As a new fly fisher, he has shown me nymphing, streamer, and casting techniques that have lead to some beautiful fish. Tom has also guided me on some other Northern New Hampshire and Western Maine rivers and remote ponds. I’ve been on numerous guided fishing trips throughout the United States and Tom ranks among the best!

  Tom is a great guide who knows the Andro very well. Tom was extremely helpful in getting familiar with a new river system. He is very attentive to calls and emails, and he went out of his way to reply to my emails both early in the morning and late at night. He taught me where to target fish and also how to navigate the faster waters on the upper Andro. I highly recommend Top Notch Fly Fishing. If you want to fish the Androscoggin then hire someone who fishes it day in and day out.
