  I spent the last 3 days of my retirement fishing adventure with guide Grey Willis on the Green. We have fished together several years. As always he is a total professional and we caught trout and laughed a lot. The staff at Western Rivers are all very nice and knowledgeable. Between the river views and the fish my experience was perfect and anyone who wants to fly fish a beautiful area must use Western Rivers Fly Guides.

  Our group’s experience fly fishing down the Green River below the dam at Flaming Gorge was great. The guides were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I consider myself a novice at fly fishing but despite my lack of skills, I still caught fish: brown and cutthroat trout. I can’t boost enough about the scenery and water quality. It’s beautiful!

  Absolutely amazing experience.Everybody there is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.Our guide Eli was everything you would want in a guide. Attentive to all our needs very knowledgeable about the river and conditions knows what to throw and when. Accommodations at the lodge are really, really nice, much better than expected your in for a very nice surprise.When you open that door. I can't wait to see what it's like next year.With all the improvements that they're doing, we will definitely be back! An absolutely amazing father son experience!!

  We had an outstanding experience with Western Rivers Fly Fishing! I can’t recommend them more highly. Ryan C. took my son and one of his teenage friends out on a float trip, and it was an absolute home run from start to finish. Ryan was exactly what you hope for in a guide: patient, knowledgeable, and great with kids. He created a fun, relaxed environment while still teaching them the skills and techniques to be successful on the water. The boys were engaged the entire time and came away not just with great memories, but with a deeper appreciation for fly fishing. The scenery was incredible, the boat setup was dialed in, and everything felt safe and professionally run. Most importantly, the boys had a blast, nonstop smiles and stories the whole way home. If you’re considering a trip in Dutch John, ask for Ryan C. You won’t regret it!
