  It was our first time to Yellowstone and we opted to try the half day fly fishing trip with Yellowstone Fly Fishing Co. None of us had fly fished before but we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Perry. He was so knowledgeable about fly fishing, and Yellowstone in general, his enthusiasm was contagious and after a cool hike down to Yellowstone River he had us all trained up and ready to go. With his guidance we all caught multiple Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout and gave us all memories that will last forever. If you're reading this and on the fence about whether to do it, please do, you won't be disappointed and the experience will last forever.

  As an older couple looking to improve our fly-fishing skills and overall experience, we decided to try using a guide for the first time. We were fortunate to be paired with Jon C., and he was absolutely amazing. Jon was insightful, patient, and encouraging as he worked with us through the learning process until we finally “got it.” Once we did, it was game on! He challenged us just enough to help us become better anglers and build our confidence on the water. Not only is Jon highly knowledgeable about fly fishing, but he also has a deep understanding of Montana’s habitat, ecosystem, and fish behavior. His ability to share that knowledge made the experience even more rewarding. We spent two full days wading and floating, and we truly could not have asked for a better guide. Jon may be young in years, but he is incredibly wise when it comes to nature and the outdoors.   Our day fly fishing with Eric and Pete was the absolute highlight of our trip! They are expert guides, gave kind, clear instruction and really made sure we had an amazing time (plus we caught a grip of fish which was super exciting) they went above and beyond - recommended some excellent food in town, gave us loads of tips and insight that made the rest of our trip to the park even better! We would a ABSOLUTELY book with them again. My kids agree- our 11 year old wasn’t 100% sure it would be fun and she loved it and said she’d totally do it again! Thank you so much!! We’ll be back some day for sure!

  Boone provided my friend and I what will always be one of the best fly fishing experiences I will ever have. He was made to be a guide (actually has a teaching degree). He was knowledgeable on all aspects; the species, skills, location we were fishing and history. I have already booked him again.
