Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our trip with your guide service. Tim was excellent at teaching us how to fly fish and he kept us safe during the process. Actually, since we had zero experience at fly fishing I held little hope for success, however I caught several large trout. The first trout I caught on a fly rod, ever, was a Yellowstone Cutthroat. Then a large brown, next was a 20+ inch brown and two large rainbows along with several smaller ones and a Rocky Mountain Whitefish. Not bad for beginners luck but I credit the success to the guide on the boat. Great guy, excellent guide, and very patient instructor, you chose well in selecting him as our guide. If I ever make it back to Montana, I would request him again. He made the trip! Here are some photos of some of our fish. The best fisherman of the day had to be the bald eagle. He seem to be standing watch for all the fish we missed during the trip. If we caught all the fish Tim put us on, we could have filled the boat. Great job!

We took a family trip to fly fish the Madison River. Montana Angler curated the entire trip from start to finish. The lodge staff at Madison River Lodge was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Jay, Chef RJ and Olivia took great care of our family. Our guides, Scott, Luke and Garrett were professional, engaging and put us on fish. I highly recommend Montana Angler and Madison River Lodge.

Went with my son and 2 of my brother in laws. Met with the guides at the hotel and from that moment on we had a blast. Max and Jordan were our guides did an amazing job teaching us how to fly fish. Gil and Tyler did an amazing job setting up camp and cooking. Every meal was great. We are looking forward to booking a trip for 2026. Thank guys and Montana Anglers for providing such an awesome get away.

The guides were professional and did a great job with the fly fishing novice in our group. The fly show was very responsive and helpful in providing critical information as the trip grew closer to ensure everything went smoothly. Fishing was excellent and the guides worked extremely hard to ensure we had a great time! I highly recommend Montana Angler! We fished 3 different sections of the Yellowstone and it was gorgeous. I attached just a couple of fish pictures.
