  Fishing with Eric on the FV Rooster far exceeded my expectations for a charter trip. The boat was immaculate and the captain and mate were extremely knowledgeable helpful and friendly. We caught more than a dozen 40 plus pound striped bass along with 2 species of shark, Black Sea bass and more. I can’t rave enough about what a great time it was.

  My 12 year-old son and I went out with Eric and crew for 2 hours at 5.30 pm in late July. Caught 17 fish including 5 Black Sea Bass keepers which were delicious - pan fried half in butter and the rest grilled with olive oil within 3 hours of being caught. Boat and gear were excellent and Eric and his crew really know what they are doing. They were great company too. Very reasonable rates. An all around excellent experience. I fish 2 to 3 times a year in Nantucket, New Jersey, OBX and LI Sound and this was by far the best trip I’ve had.

  Eric and crew are absolutely amazing and so accommodating. Put us on the fish instantly and we stayed on them all day. What a trip!!!

  Had a great day on the water with Eric and crew. Lots of action, the rods were bent all afternoon! Love the new boat and can't wait to book another trip!
