Free run: Platte River, NE
A side channel off the daily. Same rules, but this is Platte River under its own real conditions, and the course resets with everyone else's at midnight UTC. Back to today's scored run.

Thread the amber gates (a miss costs two seconds), dodge the rocks, and get to the bottom fast.
AceDustyRook run the same course. Beat them to the line.
Arrows or WASD: steer, throttle up, ease off. R restarts. On touch, hold the water to throttle up: drag sideways to steer, drag down to ease off. Off a ledge, hold sideways to spin or up and down to flip, and land it clean for a boost. Hold Space through a bend to slide the stern out, and let go for a burst of speed. On touch, a second thumb or the Drift button slides. Tricks, shaves, gates and drifts fill the nitro; hold Shift to burn it, or the Nitro button on touch.
Elevation
Run a different river
Any of these has a live gauge reading right now. Free runs use that river's real flow and do not count as the daily.
How it works
Every day at midnight UTC the run moves to a new river from the map. The course follows that river’s real course line and its real elevation drop, and the day’s speed, wave size, and rock count come from its live USGS streamflow. Low water is slow and rocky; big water is fast and wavy.
Today’s water
- Flow: 3,660 cfs
- Gauge height: 3.00 ft
- Water temp: 65°F
- Gauge: Platte River at Louisville, Nebr.
A game, not a guide
This is a stylized time trial. The gates and rocks are invented, and nothing here says anything about how hard or safe the real river is. Real conditions change fast, so check the river’s page and local guidance before you get near actual water. See the real Platte River.
Section names like The Run are our labels for the shape of today's line, not what locals call it.
